Aquatic Plant Guide (2) - Midground Plants Series

In the journey of keeping fish, growing plants is inseparable. Last time we learned about foreground plants, today we continue with midground plants.
Midground plants are positioned in the middle of the aquarium with moderate height, serving as the core framework of aquascaping. They connect the carpet effect of foreground plants and transition to the tall background plants, forming the "waist" of the planted tank.

This guide covers 30+ midground plant species, categorized by type for easy reference. Some varieties are also suitable as background plants, please note.
Difficulty is a subjective judgment considering lighting, water quality, trimming and other factors, for reference only.

I. Anubias Series (Best for Beginners)
Anubias are among the easiest aquatic plants to keep. They are shade-tolerant, don't require strong light or CO₂, and can be attached to driftwood or rocks. Highly recommended for beginners!

III. Cryptocoryne Series (Midground Varieties)
Cryptocoryne plants are highly adaptable, slow-growing, and require low maintenance. Some varieties were introduced in the foreground plants guide; here we supplement with midground varieties.
